Foyer Groups
![]() |
We are constantly searching for new and exciting ways for members of Grace Epiphany Church to become more acquainted with one another. Research shows that sharing a meal together positively benefits family members. If meals are a positive component of family communication, it stands to reason that a church family meal could offer similar benefits. Foyer Groups offer church family members the opportunity to share time, and a simple meal together while getting to know each other. |

Foyer Groups are small groups of 8-10 persons sharing simple meals and fellowship. The intention is to have fun and provide an opportunity for members of Grace Epiphany to meet each other and/or become more acquainted. Each group meets regularly for a simple meal and relaxed conversation. Don't think that this is a program just for people who can cook and have large homes where folks can host dinner parties. Groups can also meet at the church, in Cline, or go Dutch-Treat at a local restaurant. Meals can be as simple as a potluck, a picnic, or delivered pizza. Foyer Groups are not a study or prayer group; they have no agenda other than spending time with one another, which is important for the building of Christian community in our parish. The uniqueness of the Foyer Group is its lack of formal structure and its openness of communication. If you are interested in participating in this program at Grace Epiphany, please complete the form here and return it to the church office on or before December 18, 2011. If you have any questions please contact any member of the Foyer Group planning committee: Susan DuBois, Michael Nash, Victoria Sicks, Lynn Reinhard, Mandel Smith, Ouima Snowden or Evelyn Washington. | |
